Tickets for all six games on March 17 and March 19, 2011 are $216, which include the two sessions on Thursday and one session on Saturday. Beginning March 22, tickets are available via internet only at NCAAtickets.com.

Ticket applications will be accepted from March 22 until May 1, 2010. Ticket applications will be fulfilled in the order in which they were received unless demand warrants the need for a random selection process.

Pairings for the Second and Third Rounds will be announced Sunday, March 13, 2011, at 6 p.m. Eastern time on CBS, and the game times will be released on the Monday before competition. If tickets remain available following the ticket application window, sales will resume on a first come, first-served basis.

Individuals requiring special access (e.g., individuals who are disabled and/or need special seating) must contact the St. Pete Times Forum at during regular business hours 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern time, Monday through Friday. In keeping with ADA guidelines, priority for special access tickets will be given based on the order that appropriate documentation has been completed and filed with the ticket office.

In 2008, Tampa hosted the opening rounds of what can truly be called March Madness, as the site was dubbed Tampa Turmoil with four first-round upsets, two overtimes and a pair of buzzer-beaters.

No. 12 seed Western Kentucky started the day by stunning No. 5 seed Drake 101-99 in overtime. A fade-away jumper with 1.2 seconds left gave No. 13 seed San Diego the victory over No. 4 seed UConn. The second half of the day started with No. 13 seed Siena pushing past No. 4 seed Vanderbilt by 21 points and ended with No. 12 seed Villanova upsetting No. 5 seed Clemson.

The University of South Florida men's basketball team will not be allowed to play at this site.
